- 1 box chicken or turkey stuffing

- 10 oz. turkey breast lunchmeat
- 12 oz. jar fat-free turkey gravy
- 15 oz. bag frozen green beans

I used a 6 qt. slow cooker for this recipe. Serves 6 to 8.

Directions
Spray the crockpot with Pam.
In a medium-sized bowl, add 1 1/2 c. hot water to the stuffing. Using a fork mix it a few times and then let it sit for several minutes to absorb the water.
Fluff up the stuffing with a fork.
Put the stuffing in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Arrange the entire package of turkey, piece by piece, on top of the stuffing, until you have used the entire package.
Pour the jar of turkey gravy over the turkey slices. Use a spatula to spread the gravy so that it covers all of the turkey. This is important because otherwise, the turkey will dry out while cooking.
Next, sprinkle the green beans on top of the gravy.
(Note: I recommend using frozen green beans instead of fresh. I think the frozen ones cook better and retain their shape better than fresh ones. When I have used fresh beans, they looked a little more “done” than when I use frozen because they cook for so long.)
Add a couple of dashes of pepper on top of the beans. The rest of the ingredients have salt, so you won’t need to add extra salt to this dish.
Dot the top of the green beans with several spoonfuls of butter or margarine. It helps keep the beans moist and, hey, who doesn’t like buttered beans? Yum…
Put on the lid and cook on low for 6 hours. I pushed the beans back so you could see the layers underneath when it was done. I know it looks a little soupy, but it will thicken up. It’s just that I took the photo right as it finished cooking.
To serve, I use a knife to carefully cut the meal into 6 to 8 pieces, right in the crockpot. It makes it easy to serve this way. (I separated everything out when I plated it in the picture below so you could everything…)
If you have only a few guests, you can serve this with mashed potatoes, a dish of cranberry sauce, rolls, and a pumpkin pie. You’ll have an elegant yet no-fuss crockpot Thanksgiving dinner with an easy cleanup!
But since this is so easy to whip up, this crockpot Thanksgiving dinner is also one of my family’s favorite comfort weeknight meals. Everyone likes it!
The ingredients are easy to stock up on. I always have jars of gravy, a box or two of stuffing, and frozen green beans on hand. So all I have to do is purchase a package of turkey lunchmeat. And, I think you’ll agree, there’s nothing easier than cooking an entire meal right in the crockpot!
